
FLIX
Colloidal stabilizer.
Composition: Natural product made of polysaccharides composed of rhamnose and glucuronic acid.
Product for professional use in oenology – Reg. EC n. 606/2009.
Applications
To increase softness and sweetness in wines with low glycerine content; to give more roundness to wines without sugar residue (e.g., red wines bottled without microfiltration).
Suitable to stabilise the colour of red wines.
It stops any slight protein instability and improves the structure of wines with poor extracts.
It can be dissolved directly in wine, or in water at a temperature of 30°-50°C in a 1:10 proportion, and used immediately.
To be used in-process or immediately before bottling. Suggested doses: 20-35 g/hl for white wines, 25-50 g/hl for red wines. Also available in sterile liquid form: Flix Liquid.
