RETINEX AND FLIX

PROTOCOL FOR THE CORRECT USE

Retinex White Wines

> Should be added 3 days before bottling (wine protein stabilized)
> Can be added to the wine in the pressure tank before the second fermentation
> Can be used the day before the tirage in champenoise wines
> Can be used in must and turbid and cloudy wine before fining.

Flix

> Addition: 30 days or 1 hour before bottling

> Do not exceed the dosage of 30 g/hl in wine that will be microfiltered at 0,65-0,45 μm

> Best solution: add with a doser after the microfilter

> With microfilters at 3-5 μm the dosage can be high (100 g/hl of powder and 400 mL for the liquid).

Important

ATTENTION

NEVER ADD RETINEX THE DAY BEFORE BOTTLING OR BEFORE 3 DAYS AFTER THE ADDITION.

IN RED WINES NEVER ADD AFTER FINING

Retinex Red Wines

> Can be added at the end of the fermentation
> During the transferring of the wine to the barrique or wooden barrel
> Before bottling: add Retinex, wait for 3 days, fining with gelatin or bentonite (to stabilized the wine), after 7-10 days transfer and filter the wine and then proceed with bottling. Otherwise instead of fining cool down the wine at 0°C for 4 days, transfer and filter.
